Job Title: Field Supply / Power tool Assistant
Reports to: Field Supply / Power tool Supervisor
Position Objective/Description:
As a Field Supply / Power tool Assistant, you will ensure timely delivery, maintenance, and inventory control of essential supplies. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and distribute field supplies, equipment, and materials to appropriate locations per operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and reporting discrepancies or shortages.
- Collaborate with Supervisor to monitor stock levels, forecast future supply needs, and place orders accordingly.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, supply usage, and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- General knowledge of Construction terms (equipment, tools, supplies)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing operational needs.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS office applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and database management).
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems.
- Ability to work independently. (Self-starter, self-motivated, flexible, organized, and able to prioritize. Able to work with minimal supervision)
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
Physical Demands:
- Constant physical effort, including extended sitting.
- Intermittent walking and standing.
- Climb stairs.
- Regularly twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch to perform duties.
- Regularly reach above shoulder level
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift, push, pull, and/or carry at least 50 pounds occasionally, and sometimes heavier weight.
Education / Experience:
- High School diploma. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
- Experience in inventory, data entry, and/or analytical work
Work Environment:
Regularly work in outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat and humidity. Exposed to wet or humid conditions.
